We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Analyst to support a significant finance transformation initiative.

This role is suited to a commercially minded Business Analyst who can speak the language of finance and work confidently with accountants, finance leaders, banking partners, payment teams and technology stakeholders.

The successful candidate does not need to be deeply technical but must possess a strong understanding of finance, accounting, banking and payment processes.

Experience with Oracle NetSuite would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and document current finance, accounting, banking and payment processes.
- Gather business requirements from finance, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable and operational stakeholders.
- Map end-to-end financial processes, including payments, receipts, settlements, reconciliations and reporting.
- Translate finance requirements into explicit business requirements, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the design of future-state finance and accounting processes.
- Work with finance teams and delivery partners to define system and reporting requirements.
- Analyse banking interfaces, payment flows, transaction data and reconciliation processes.
- Support data mapping, migration, validation and financial system integration activities.
- Facilitate workshops and maintain alignment between finance, business and technology stakeholders.
- Assist with testing, defect management, implementation,



training and business readiness.
- Ensure proposed solutions support appropriate financial controls, auditability and reporting obligations.

Required Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst working across finance or accounting transformation programs.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and core financial processes.
- Experience with banking, payments, settlements and financial reconciliations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with accountants, finance executives and operational stakeholders.
- Experience documenting complex finance processes and business requirements.
- Strong analytical, process-mapping and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supporting system implementations, process improvements or finance transformation initiatives.
- Excellent workshop facilitation, stakeholder-management and communication skills.

Highly Desirable
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
- Experience implementing or enhancing an ERP or finance platform.
- Knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and financial reporting.
- Experience with banking integrations, payment gateways or payment service providers.
- Exposure to retail or other high-volume transactional environments.

The successful candidate will be finance and accounting savvy, comfortable discussing banking and payment processes, and capable of bridging the gap between finance stakeholders and delivery teams.
