ProQuest Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Inbound Forklift Operator / Storeperson to join a well-established and growing business located in Dandenong South.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse operator who is confident on Counterbalance forklifts, enjoys being hands-on and wants to become part of a solid, hardworking team.

We're looking for someone who knows their way around a warehouse, takes safety seriously, gets stuck in and is happy to support the team across a range of duties — including strapping products and preparing goods for movement and dispatch.

About the Role
Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will play an important role in keeping stock moving safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating Counterbalance forklifts for loading, unloading and general warehouse movements
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving, storing and replenishing stock throughout the warehouse
- Picking and preparing products
- Strapping products securely and safely in preparation for storage, transport or dispatch
- General warehouse duties and manual handling
- Supporting receiving and dispatch activities
- Checking stock and ensuring products are handled accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Working closely with supervisors and the wider warehouse team
- Supporting the team when priorities change or things get busy
- Following all site safety procedures and requirements

We're Looking for Someone Who Can Really Get Stuck In
Forklift experience is obviously important, but we're looking for someone who is more than just a forklift operator.

The right person will be someone who:

- Has strong, proven Counterbalance experience
- Is confident operating High Reach
- Is comfortable jumping between different warehouse duties




- Is physically capable and happy with manual handling and strapping
- Takes pride in their work
- Has a strong work ethic and a genuine "let's get it done" attitude
- Is reliable, punctual and consistent
- Communicates well with the team
- Takes safety seriously
- Follows procedures and works carefully
- Takes ownership of their responsibilities
- Is willing to help out when the team is under pressure
- Has a positive and respectful attitude
- Works well as part of a team

To Be Successful, You'll Have:

- Current Australian LF Forklift Licence
- Strong Counterbalance forklift experience
- Proven High Reach forklift experience
- Solid previous warehouse experience
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- Comfortable with manual handling and strapping products
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable transport
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to complete a police check
- Availability for ongoing Monday–Friday work
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
