About the role

As a Nanny based in Adelaide, SA 5000, you will be an integral part of the Neighbourhood Nannies' team, providing high-quality childcare and support to families in the local community. This casual position offers a flexible work schedule, allowing you to balance your other commitments while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

What you'll be doing

- Providing exceptional childcare to children of all ages, including feeding, bathing, playing, and engaging them in educational and enriching activities

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in your care, following all relevant policies and procedures

- Communicating regularly with parents to provide updates on the children's progress and any concerns

- Maintaining a clean and organised environment for the children

- Assisting with light meal preparation and household tasks as needed

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working as a nanny/babysitter or in a childcare setting, with a passion for working with children

- A minimum of 6 months' experience in caring for children is required

- Acceptable childcare experience includes professional nannying, babysitting, childcare centre work, family care, and volunteer work

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and parents





- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think quickly and respond effectively in various situations

- A current First Aid/CPR certificate and a valid Working with Children Check

- First Aid/CPR certificate must be current and valid at the time of application

- Working with Children Check must be obtained before starting work

- Australian citizenship is required for this position

- Flexibility to work a range of hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
