About this position
The City of Gosnells is seeking passionate Casual Swim Teachers to join our customer-focused team at Leisure World.
We welcome applications from qualified Swim School Teachers interested in joining our casual pool for opportunities across a range of programs. Qualifications and experience in Parent & Child classes will be highly regarded.
If you're energetic, enthusiastic, and love teaching, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in your community. You'll deliver engaging swim lessons across a range of programs, including school-aged children, parent and child classes, adult, CALD and lifesaving sessions, depending on your qualifications and experience.
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Have experience delivering swimming lessons in accordance with recognised Australian swim teaching standards
- Can adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
- Maintain accurate student records and work collaboratively within a team workplace
- Hold relevant swim teaching qualifications, with Parent & Child qualifications and experience highly regarded
Essential requirements
- Current National Police Clearance (Less than three months)
- Working with Children Check Card
- Provide First Aid certificate & current Resuscitation
- Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
- Applicants must be available to work weekends, morning or afternoon shifts as required
Desirable requirements
- Teacher of Infant & Preschool Aquatics, Access & Inclusion, Adults, Competitive Strokes.
