Zuster is looking for smart, hardworking people who want to build a career in cabinet making and fine furniture manufacturing.

For over 30 years, we have been designing and manufacturing high-end furniture in Melbourne. We have a highly skilled team of cabinet makers and craftspeople who are passionate about passing their knowledge on to the next generation.

We are looking for new apprentices, as well as 2nd and 3rd year apprentices who may be looking for a current opportunity.

What We Offer

- Full-time cabinet making apprenticeship

You will be:

- Smart, practical and willing to learn

- Hardworking and reliable

- Genuinely interested in timber, furniture and making things

- Good with your hands and attentive to detail





- Comfortable working as part of a team

- Interested in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term career

- Proud of producing work to a high standard

Previous experience is not essential. We can teach you the skills. What matters most is your attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.

School leavers, pre-apprenticeship graduates, mature-aged apprentices and existing 2nd or 3rd year apprentices are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Learn

Working alongside our experienced team, you will learn all aspects of cabinet making and fine furniture manufacturing, including timber machining, assembly, solid timber work, veneer, interpreting CAD drawings, hand and power tools, quality control and furniture construction from start to finish.

This is an opportunity to learn a genuine craft from people who have spent their careers perfecting it.
