About the role:

Ku-Ring-Gai Neighbourhood Centre Ltd (KNC) is seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join their team in St Ives, NSW. We are an aged care provider operating in St Ives for over 45 years. This is an excellent role for a detail-oriented, organised individual who enjoys working with numbers and as part of a close-knit team. As a bookkeeper you will play a vital role in the organisation's financial management and reporting, contributing to the overall success of KNC.

What you'll be doing:

- Bookkeeping, invoicing and bank reconciliations

- Maintaining accurate financial records and reports, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

- Managing tasks, deadlines and following up on outstanding work

- Coordinating with staff, suppliers, accountants and external contractors

- Preparing clear reports

- Following existing processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

- Maintain supplier records and follow up account queries where required

What we're looking for:

- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration or a similar finance/admin role

- Practical experience using MYOB

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivables and bank reconciliations

- Excellent administrative and organisational skills

- Confidence in working with financial reports





- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

- Tamil, Hindi, or Mandarin speaking is not essential but desired
