Senior Civil Design Engineer | Perth

This is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in civil, structural and mechanical engineering. With a strong pipeline of WA mining, infrastructure and land development projects, the business is growing its civil team and looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join them in Perth.

The opportunity

This is a genuinely hands-on role for a Civil Engineer who enjoys designing, problem-solving and seeing projects through, rather than being pigeonholed into one narrow technical area.
You'll work across a variety of civil projects, with exposure to areas including drainage, roads, earthworks and land development, while also having the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to project delivery.

You'll be involved in:

- Civil engineering design and calculations
- Drainage, roads, earthworks and land development projects
- Design documentation, reports and technical assessments
- Construction processes and project delivery
- Project scoping, costing and management
- Working closely with other engineering disciplines
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers

What they're looking for
You’ll ideally have 5+ years' civil engineering design experience, with strong Australian consulting experience and a broad technical skill set.

You'll bring:

- A recognised Civil Engineering degree
- Strong hands-on civil design experience
- Solid drainage experience and broader civil exposure




- Good understanding of Australian design standards
- Experience with relevant design software and an understanding of 12D
- Exposure to construction and project delivery
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- A collaborative, practical and commercially minded approach

Salary: $120k–$170k + super, depending on experience.
