The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Tier 2 contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial, mixed-use, and industrial projects. With an integrated design and construction approach, the business continues to secure high-quality projects and offers genuine long-term career opportunities.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team on a landmark $80 million commercial development in Sydney.

About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project from procurement through to completion, with a particular focus on design management and coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing consultant, subcontractor and design team coordination
- Coordinate closely with design consultants and internal teams to review RFIs, technical issues and drawing issues in a timely manner
- Coordinating authority approvals and compliance requirements
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement activities
- Assisting with programme management, reporting and project controls
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and buildability improvements
- Working closely with site and commercial teams to ensure successful project outcomes

What You Need to Be Successful
- Degree qualified in Construction Management,



Engineering or a related discipline
- 4+ years' experience as a Project Engineer within medium to large scale projects across commercial or residential projects
- Strong design management and consultant coordination experience
- Exposure to Design & Construct delivery models
- Experience delivering projects valued above $40M
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong technical, organisational and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced project environment
