GemLife is looking for an experienced Renderer to join our construction team across our Kilcoy project.

Working across residential construction, you’ll be responsible for completing internal and external rendering works and delivering smooth, consistent and high-quality finishes in accordance with plans, specifications and GemLife standards.

A day in the life...

You’ll prepare surfaces, mix and apply render, complete base and finishing coats and achieve the required textures and finishes. You’ll repair cracks and damaged surfaces, check levels and finishes, rectify defects and coordinate with other trades to keep construction moving.

Job Duties

- Carry out rendering works on residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare surfaces before rendering.
- Mix and apply rendering materials to achieve the required finish.
- Create textured and decorative finishes in line with project requirements.
- Ensure rendered surfaces are level, smooth and visually consistent.




- Repair minor surface defects and imperfections.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications to support project delivery.
- Operate and maintain rendering tools and equipment safely.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and site presentation.

Required Skills
- AQF Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent.
- Confidence using rendering tools and equipment.
- Robust attention to detail, teamwork and reliability.
- Hold a valid White Card.
