About the role

Be part of the next chapter of a great WA country pub. The Royal Hotel Kojonup is looking for an experienced Chef who wants to deliver excellent modern country pub food and become part of a welcoming rural community. The Royal is a busy country hotel with a bar, restaurant, and bottle shop. Working with the Hotel Manager and ownership group, you'll help continue to lift the quality and consistency of the Royal's food offering.

Key responsibilities

- Produce great food with genuine pride in quality

- Deliver quality, consistency and value

- Manage good kitchen organisation, stock management and food costs

- Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen presentation

- Work collaboratively with a small hospitality team

- Use Great Southern produce and other regional products wherever practical

- Contribute to the development of menus and food offering

About you

- Experienced Chef

- Takes genuine pride in producing great food

- Can deliver quality, consistency and value

- Understands good kitchen organisation, stock management and food costs

- Maintains high standards of food safety and kitchen presentation





- Enjoys working collaboratively with a small hospitality team

- Interested in using Great Southern meat, produce and other regional products wherever practical

- Wants to become part of the local community rather than simply work in it
