About Us:

Richers Transport operates the company's head office in Maryborough, on the fabulous Fraser Coast in QLD. Our company is a prominent carrier into the Wide Bay region, having been established since 1935.

We currently have a full-time job available for a Trade Qualified, Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic based in our Maryborough Workshop. Apprentices in their 3rd or 4th year will also be considered.

Work Schedule:

- Monday to Friday with weekend and on-call work rosters at an additional rate

- Two shifts: Morning (5:30 am to 2:00 pm) and Afternoon (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm)

- Shift rotation:



2 weeks on morning shift, 1 week on afternoon shift

- Afternoon shift loading applies

Responsibilities:

- Work under limited supervision within a team environment

- Possess basic electronic/electrical skills (formal or otherwise)

- Exercise good interpersonal and communication skills

- Understand and apply quality control measures

A licence to operate forklifts and heavy vehicles would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be offered above award pay rates based on our Enterprise Agreement.
