Join us in shaping the future of energy.
Asset Management Services
CPP’s Asset Management Services (AMS) ensure the reliability and longevity of high-voltage assets. As a key part of our end-to-end service offering, we provide a seamless transition from construction and commissioning to ongoing asset management.
The AMS team supports utility and renewable energy clients by delivering critical maintenance, replacement and upgrade projects that help keep Australia's power network operating safely and reliably.
The Opportunity
As CPP continues to grow its Asset Management Services (AMS) capability, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of critical utility asset replacement projects across South Australia.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will take ownership of site delivery from mobilisation through to completion, coordinating personnel, contractors, documentation, safety, quality and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Initial projects will focus on critical utility asset replacement (UAR) works for one of our key clients, with site delivery taking place across the south-east region of South Australia.
This role offers something increasingly difficult to find in the market: meaningful leadership responsibility and technically significant high-voltage work without the demands of a traditional FIFO or extended construction roster. You'll spend your time between project planning and preparation in Adelaide, site visits and leading outage delivery on site, providing a diverse and rewarding mix of office and field-based work.
During outages, you'll be responsible for the entire site, lead crews of CPP employees and contractors, oversee site safety and compliance, coordinate outages and work sequencing, manage documentation and reporting requirements, and maintain strong relationships with client representatives and project stakeholders.
With several projects secured and additional work currently under tender, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in shaping how AMS delivers projects across the network.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or senior field leader within HV electrical or utility infrastructure environments.
- Strong leadership experience managing site personnel, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of construction sequencing, outage planning and site delivery.
- Proven ability to manage safety, quality, site documentation, inductions, permits and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems proactively.
- Electrical trade qualifications and a current Australian driver's licence
Highly regarded:
- Experience working on high-voltage substations or asset replacement projects.
- Exposure to utility environments and transmission network operators.
- Experience managing mixed workforces of employees and subcontractors.
- Certificate IV in Safety, Civil Construction or related qualifications.
Be rewarded at CPP.
At CPP, we value our people above all else. We’re dedicated to investing in and developing your talent to help you reach your full potential.
