Job Description:

· Location: Remote – Australia-wide (Greater Sydney preferred)

· Work arrangement: Remote, with reasonable flexibility around working hours and occasional travel to Sydney required

About the role

ANZPEO is looking for an experienced Registered Migration Agent to join our team and manage our Australian migration matters in-house, while also supporting the employment and administrative processes that sit around our visa sponsorship service

Australian migration will be the primary focus of the role. You’ll independently manage Australian employer-sponsored visa matters from initial assessment through to decision, working directly with clients, applicants and relevant government authorities.

As visa sponsorship forms part of ANZPEO’s wider Employer of Record service, this is a hands-on role within a small and growing business. Alongside your migration work, you’ll support the employment and client administration that is part of ANZPEO’s visa process, including client onboarding and employment documentation. Previous HR or employment administration experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential, as our internal processes can be learnt as part of the role.

You’ll also coordinate New Zealand visa matters, working with clients and applicants to collate the information and documentation required by our external New Zealand immigration lawyer. You won’t be expected to provide New Zealand immigration advice. You’ll work closely with the wider ANZPEO team, with support across the visa and employment process. As part of a small team, roles and priorities can evolve, so there may also be times when you’re asked to support other areas of the business where needed.

Working at ANZPEO

ANZPEO provides Employer of Record, Visa Sponsorship, Payroll and HR solutions across Australia and New Zealand, supporting international businesses to employ and manage their people locally.

We’re a growing, family-owned business with a close-knit team supporting clients and employees across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a full-time, remote role available Australia-wide, with Greater Sydney preferred. The role is worked across five days, with reasonable flexibility around working hours to accommodate personal and family commitments.

While the role is remote, travel to Sydney will be required from time to time for team get-togethers and other business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Australian Migration

As the Registered Migration Agent, you’ll independently manage ANZPEO’s Australian migration matters, including:

· Provide Australian immigration assistance and advice in line with migration legislation, professional obligations and the Migration Agents Code of Conduct.

· Assess client and applicant circumstances and advise on appropriate visa and sponsorship pathways.

· Prepare, review and lodge visa, nomination and sponsorship applications and supporting documentation.

· Manage matters from initial assessment through to lodgement, decision and handover for employee onboarding.

· Liaise directly with clients, applicants, the Department of Home Affairs and other relevant stakeholders.

· Respond to requests for further information and Department correspondence within required timeframes.

· Advise clients and applicants on visa requirements, conditions, work rights, sponsorship obligations and future visa options.

· Manage Labour Market Testing requirements for relevant applications, including reviewing job descriptions, coordinating advertising and maintaining supporting evidence.

· Maintain accurate case records and ensure all professional and regulatory requirements are met.

· Keep up to date with changes to Australian migration legislation, policy and procedures, providing immigration expertise to the wider ANZPEO team where required.

Recent Zealand Visa Coordination

ANZPEO’s New Zealand immigration advice will continue to be provided by our external Current Zealand immigration lawyer. Your role will be to coordinate these matters on behalf of ANZPEO and keep the process moving between all parties.

Responsibilities will include:

· Act as ANZPEO’s main point of contact between clients, applicants and the New Zealand immigration lawyer.

· Coordinate the information and documentation required for New Zealand visa matters.

· Track outstanding requirements, deadlines, application progress and next steps.

· Keep clients and applicants updated throughout the process, accurately communicating advice provided by the New Zealand immigration lawyer.

· Coordinate employment documentation and internal requirements needed to support applications.

· Support successful visa holders through the transition into ANZPEO’s employment and onboarding process.

Visa Operations & Client Administration

As visa sponsorship forms part of ANZPEO’s wider EOR service, the role also includes operational and administrative responsibilities that sit around the visa process. These include:

· Manage the onboarding of new visa clients, including preparation, execution and coordination of Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Project Agreements.

· Prepare and coordinate employment contracts and other employment documentation required for visa applications.

· Maintain active matters, documentation, milestones and deadlines within HubSpot.

· Coordinate professional fees, government charges and client invoicing as required.

· Monitor visa expiry dates and upcoming renewal requirements.

· Work with ANZPEO’s wider team to coordinate successful visa applicants into employment and payroll processes.

· Maintain and improve visa processes, templates, procedures and internal guidance.

· Support ANZPEO’s OHLA sponsorship, record-keeping and immigration compliance requirements.
