About the role
Come and join the fantastic Coronary Care and Stroke Unit team in Orange!

Situated in the beautiful central west town of Orange, we are seeking Registered Nurses with a passion for providing high quality care and are keen to learn and expand their skills in a fast-paced critical care environment. The Coronary Care and Stroke Unit in Orange provide care for a wide range of acute cardiac patients, such as Acute Coronary Syndromes, Heart Failure, Arrhythmias and those requiring cardiac device procedures, along with caring for Acute Stroke patients. We also work closely with our colleagues in the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device service team, with Orange providing the only 24/7 service for urgent angiography in WNSWLHD.

Working a 24/7 rotating shift work roster, you will be well supported by the Charge of Shift RNs, CNE and Clinical Nurse Specialists and other senior RNs on a day to day basis, along with the NUM, Cardiology CNC and Stroke Care Co-ordinator. You will work as part of a friendly team who value teamwork and a ‘can-do’ attitude, and work closely together and pride themselves on providing optimal outcomes and care for our Cardiac and Stroke patients.
