About the Prospect

We are seeking an experienced Land Tenure Specialist to join the team and provide specialist support across Azure’s mining tenures, land access and other project-critical land tenure requirements in Western Australia, including the Andover Project.

Based in our West Perth office, you will support the management of mining tenements, land access, easements, property interests and land acquisitions, including tenure administration, compliance, negotiations and stakeholder engagement.

Working closely with internal teams, government agencies, landowners, pastoralists, and external advisers, you will help ensure Azure’s land tenure and access requirements are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an opportunity to play an important role in supporting the development of a significant lithium project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage and maintain accurate records of mining tenements, land access arrangements, easements, property interests and other project-critical tenure.

• Support the full lifecycle of mining tenements and land tenure arrangements, including applications, negotiations, acquisitions, renewals, variations and relinquishments.

• Monitor tenure obligations, renewal dates, expenditure commitments, access fees, compensation payments and other statutory,



regulatory and contractual requirements.

• Coordinate with internal teams including Geology, Environment and Approvals, Finance/Commercial and the Project Team to support timely tenure compliance.

• Support negotiations and relationship management with government agencies, landowners, pastoralists, neighbouring tenure holders, joint venture partners and other relevant parties.

• Maintain accurate tenure information through relevant GIS and tenement management systems and provide regular tenure reporting.

• Identify and escalate material tenure, access, compliance, cost and stakeholder risks.

• Contribute to the development of short, medium and long-term land tenure and land access strategies for the Andover Project.

About You

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as law, property/land economics, mining or resource management.

• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the mining industry and/or land tenure administration.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Mining Act 1978 (WA), Land Administration Act 1997 (WA) and related regulatory frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience managing native title, heritage and Aboriginal land access obligations in Western Australia.

• Proficiency with GIS, tenement management systems and tenure/data management software.

• Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with sound decision-making, negotiation and communication skills.
