Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,



applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within DOH and/or the wider WA public sector. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: The Senior Program Officer is a key member of the Portfolio Oversight team and reports to the Manager, Portfolio Oversight. The position plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of programs, projects, and policy initiatives within a complex and dynamic operating workplace. The role supports portfolio governance, reporting, assurance, and oversight activities, while fostering effective collaboration between Health Infrastructure, project delivery partners, Health Service Providers, Health Support Services, and other stakeholders. The Senior Program Officer also provides operational and administrative support to the Portfolio Oversight team to ensure the effective coordination and monitoring of infrastructure initiatives across the portfolio. The position is responsible for coordinating, liaising, and providing advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. This requires strong analytical, communication,



and problem-solving skills to interpret complex information, identify risks and issues, develop practical and strategic recommendations, and support informed decision-making. The Senior Program Officer contributes to strengthening governance and assurance practices, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and supporting the successful delivery of Health Infrastructure's strategic priorities and objectives.
