About the Role

We have an exciting prospect for an experienced Customer Business Manager (CBM) to join the Convenience & National Accounts team.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will hold full P&L; and strategic responsibility for key Petrol & Convenience customers, driving profitable and sustainable growth through best-in-class Joint Business Plans (JBPs), customer partnerships, and commercial execution. This role will include line management.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Commercial Leadership

- Lead the end-to-end management of major Petrol & Convenience customers.
- Oversee additional state-based and national accounts through the leadership of a Key Account Manager
- Own customer P&L; outcomes, including revenue, gross profit, trade spend, forecasting, and profitability
- Drive recent business within existing customers and emerging channels
- Develop and execute customer Joint Business Plans to deliver sustainable growth and market share gains




- Lead customer negotiations, promotional planning, range reviews, and activation programs
- Drive category, ranging, space, and eCommerce opportunities
- Build strong relationships across customer and internal stakeholder groups, including Category, Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance
- Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and broader team leadership initiatives

Skills & Experience

- 5+ years' experience in FMCG sales, key account management, or retail customer management
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L; management
- Experience in forecasting, analysis, and business planning
- Proven capability in strategic sales planning and customer relationship management
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience leading, coaching, or influencing teams
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred
