We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s team at Sino Iron, Cape Preston, WA.
This is a outstanding opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for FIFO work on a 2:1 roster, with an attractive hourly rate of $83 per hour.

The Role
Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and servicing across site equipment and machinery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mechanical fitting, maintenance and repairs
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
- Equipment inspections and servicing
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
- Previous experience in a mining, processing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Relevant Australian work rights and required tickets/licences
