Looking for a role that gets you out from behind a desk and into the community?
We are seeking a Mobile Case Manager for a 18- month secondment to support workers and employers across Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Port Macquarie and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for Allied Health Professionals, or experienced Case Managers who enjoy building relationships and making a genuine difference in people's recovery journeys.
As a Mobile Case Manager, you will spend your time meeting face-to-face with workers, employers and treatment providers,
helping people recover from injury and successfully return to work. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through early intervention and personalised support.
You’ll have the flexibility to manage your day across the region and connect directly with the people you support. Travel will vary depending on your caseload and location, with occasional travel of up to 3 hours each way. Overnight accommodation will be provided where required. To support you while you’re on the road, you’ll be provided with a laptop, mobile phone and either a fleet vehicle or car allowance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct community-based visits at worksites or medical clinics to meet with injured workers, employers and providers in the community and provide tailored support.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to help achieve positive recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
- Utilise your rehabilitation, allied health or case management expertise to identify and overcome barriers to recovery.
- Travel throughout the region to approximately 8 visits per week to provide face-to-face support for injured workers throughout their workers compensation journey
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in Rehabilitation or Return to Work, with demonstrated background as a Rehabilitation Consultant,
Allied Health Professional, or experienced Workers Compensation Case Manager
- Solid attention to detail, stakeholder engagement, relationship building skills with a passion for helping people
- Knowledge of the NSW workers’ compensation legislation or understanding of medical terminology is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to listen and understand the needs of people recovering from an injury and knowledge of how to maximise recovery and return to work
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s License and access to a vehicle with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating.
