Empowered Living Choices (ELC) is looking for an experienced and highly organised Rostering Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people and has a strong understanding of rostering within the disability, community services, healthcare or similar sector.

About the Role
The Rostering Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring our participants have the right support, with the right staff, at the right time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and maintaining staff rosters across multiple participants and teams
- Managing shift changes, cancellations, leave and staff availability
- Matching staff to participant needs, preferences and requirements
- Communicating professionally and promptly with staff, Team Leaders, participants and internal teams
- Monitoring roster coverage and proactively identifying staffing gaps
- Assisting with timesheet management and ensuring accurate recording of hours worked
- Supporting payroll processes by identifying and resolving timesheet or roster discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate staff and roster information within our systems
- Responding to roster-related enquiries and resolving issues efficiently
- Building positive working relationships with staff and supporting them where required
- Ensuring rostering practices align with organisational requirements and participant needs
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
- Working collaboratively with the wider ELC team while being confident working independently
- Managing multiple tasks and competing priorities throughout the day while remaining organised, calm and accurate
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in rostering – previous rostering experience is essential
- Highly organised with excellent multitasking skills
- Able to manage multiple rosters, staff enquiries, timesheets and administrative tasks simultaneously
- Able to prioritise competing tasks and deadlines effectively
- Reliable, accountable and dependable
- Friendly, approachable and supportive, while maintaining professionalism
- A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with a diverse range of people
- Confident using technology and rostering/timekeeping systems
- Experienced with timesheets and/or payroll-related administration
- Able to problem-solve quickly and calmly when staffing issues arise
- Proactive and able to anticipate potential roster gaps before they become an issue
- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership of your work
- Able to work autonomously and unsupervised to a consistently high standard
- Someone who takes pride in accuracy and getting the details right
- Compassionate and understanding of the needs of people living with disability

Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a rostering role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Experience with timesheets and/or payroll administration
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Solid computer and systems skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience within disability, community services, healthcare or a similar environment will be highly regarded
