Sladen Legal is a leading commercial law firm dedicated to providing top-tier legal advice and services to private enterprises. Our Dispute Resolution & Litigation team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join the team on a casual basis, working out of our Melbourne CBD office.

This role is well suited to a law student looking to gain hands-on experience with a few years left of their university studies.

About the role

Working closely with our lawyers, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with drafting correspondence, reports, and legal documents.

- Conducting legal research and analysing relevant case law.

- Coordinating and attending meetings.

- Supporting team members in preparing documents and presentations.

- Assisting with the preparation of internal and external marketing updates and articles on relevant legal developments.

- Managing administrative tasks related to client matters.

- Participating in firm CPD sessions and departmental events.

About you

- Currently studying a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor with a keen interest in Dispute Resolution and Litigation.

- Available and committed to working ideally two days per week in our Melbourne CBD office.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Excellent time management skills, a proactive approach to deadlines, and high attention to detail.

- Full working rights in Australia.

- At least three years remaining in your law degree.
