About LDK Seniors Living
LDK Seniors Living vision is for every senior Australian to be treated with Love, Decency & Kindness in their ageing journey. Our core values of Love, Decency & Kindness underpin our culture and guide every aspect of everything we do for our residents and our team members. All LDK villages combine the best part of retirement living and aged care to deliver our unique One Move Promise® – our guarantee that once our residents call LDK home, they will never have to move again.
About the role
This is a rare opportunity to combine the strategic focus of a Solution Architect with the operational leadership of a Business Systems Manager. The role will primarily focus on Solution Architecture and to a lesser degree Business Systems Management. We believe the initial allocation would be roughly 80% Solution Architecture and 20% Business Systems Management. There would be two distinct future pathways from this role. We expect that each of these functions will become separate roles as the business and team scale. This should create the opportunity to pursue either pathway at some point in the future.
You will own the future direction of LDK's business applications, enterprise architecture, integration landscape, and data foundations while leading a growing Business Systems function within ICT Operations. You will work across every part of the business including care, village operations, finance, sales, people and culture, data and AI, and project delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and practical delivery, and who wants to create meaningful outcomes that improve the lives of residents and employees.
The Solution Architect will create and maintain the overarching Enterprise and Solution Architecture frameworks by which all systems and solutions are guided. The role will be heavily involved in the definition of requirements (technical and non-functional) and the acquisition process for new solutions across the organisation. This role will, deliver the business’ technology vision and strategic ambitions through the development and delivery architecture of our future-state technology solutions, our data and integration model and the detailed architecture needed to deliver the technology roadmap.
The role will define and deliver the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ solutions architecture, the logical data model and high-level requirements and designs for applications and infrastructure solutions. Critical to the role is the development and implementation of our integration model and the development of our solution optioning processes.
A key focus of the role will be the evaluation of all technology options, for each specific business need and the recommendation of alternatives. These options include evaluating all core systems and their current use and designing improvements and integration between systems as well as the possible replacement of systems with better alternatives, where warranted.
