Pentland Childcare & Kindergarten is looking for passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team!

About Pentland

Pentland Childcare & Kindergarten is a privately owned, purpose-built early childhood service that has been proudly supporting children and families in our local community for over 25 years.

Our service provides care and education for up to 100 children, from 4 months to 5 years of age. We offer Long Day Care, funded 3- and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten programs, as well as Before and After School Care for school-aged children.

Our team of approximately 35 educators is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children feel valued, supported and encouraged to learn through play, exploration and meaningful relationships.

We believe in the importance of teamwork, professional relationships and ongoing development, and we value educators who bring enthusiasm, reliability and a genuine passion for working with children.

About the Role

We are seeking educators who are enthusiastic about contributing to a high-quality early childhood program and who enjoy working collaboratively with children, families and colleagues.

Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to:

- Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based experiences.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

- An ACECQA-approved qualification, with a minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.

- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and child development.

- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates.

- Current Child Protection training.

- A current Police Check, issued within the last 12 months.

- Strong communication skills, reliability and a professional work ethic.

- The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
