We’re looking for a Sales and Customer Support person who enjoys building relationships and finding the right solutions. The role combines office-based support with getting out on the road to visit customers, understand their needs and develop long-term relationships.

You don’t need to be a technical expert. Product knowledge can be taught. What matters is your sales experience, customer service skills and ability to build genuine relationships.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow a portfolio of key customers
- Build solid, long-term customer relationships
- Find new sales opportunities by speaking with customers and understanding their needs
- Promote parts, servicing, repairs and equipment solutions
- Visit customers regularly to understand their needs and future
- Prepare quotes, tenders and sales plans when required
- Keep customer, sales and equipment records up to date
- Work closely with the service, parts and technical teams to find the right solutions
- Keep up to date with competitors and changes in the market
- Support sales campaigns, marketing and business development activities
- Work towards sales targets and KPIs while providing great customer service

Skills

In this role,



you will ideally have previous experience in sales, business development or account management. A mechanical mindset or background in industrial, construction, electrical, trades, heavy machinery or automotive industries will be highly regarded and will help you hit the ground running.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident using CRM systems and keeping sales records up to date
- Good attention to detail and ability to learn new computer systems
- Strong understanding of the importance of workplace safety
- Self-motivated, organised and able to manage your own schedule
- Proactive, commercially minded and focused on finding the right solutions for customers
- Full Drivers Licence and valid Police Check required or willing to obtain
