About You

You are an experienced Senior Project Manager with a solid background in remediation and contaminated land projects. Commercially astute and solutions focused, you are comfortable taking ownership of complex projects from planning through to completion.

You are a confident leader who can manage project teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors while maintaining a strong focus on safety, program, quality and commercial outcomes. You thrive in a fast-paced project environment and have the ability to balance competing priorities while keeping delivery on track.

The Opportunity

With a strong pipeline of upcoming remediation works, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager – Remediation to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, management and delivery of medium to large-scale contaminated land, environmental and industrial remediation projects across Australia.





This is a senior delivery role with responsibility for project performance across safety, program, commercial outcomes, client relationships and project team leadership.

Key Duties & Tasks

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of contaminated land and remediation projects.

- Develop and manage project plans, programs, methodologies and delivery strategies.

- Coordinate site activities, resources, subcontractors and project requirements.

- Lead project teams, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing environment.

- Champion best practice across Health, Safety, Quality and Workplace.

- Ensure compliance with relevant environmental, safety, regulatory and project requirements.

- Manage project risk, scope, specifications, protocols and contractual obligations.

- Maintain strong commercial oversight, including cost control, forecasting, budgets and project financial performance.

- Identify, assess, price and negotiate project variations and changes in scope.

- Manage monthly claims, invoicing and project reporting.

- Prepare and contribute to tenders, bids, methodologies, job plans and project costings.

- Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.





- Provide timely and accurate reporting on project performance, risks, opportunities and delivery.

- Drive projects to successful completion safely, on program and within budget.

Experience/Skills & Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related discipline.

- Substantial experience managing medium to large-scale projects within the contaminated land, environmental or remediation field.

- Proven leadership capability, with the ability to lead project teams, drive outcomes and manage priorities.

- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, claims, variations and cost control.

- High-level problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions that deliver both technical and commercial outcomes.

- Solid understanding of ERP systems and related technologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of effectively managing both internal and external stakeholder relationships.

- Ability to work under pressure whilst managing project elements simultaneously.
