The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential for additional days and hours as the role evolves. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar administrative or accounts-focused role within a professional services environment. Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable will be highly regarded.

About the Role
As our Accounts Administrator, you will play an integral role in supporting the financial and administrative operations of the practice. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure accounts payable and receivable processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
We are seeking a proactive and organized professional who enjoys working collaboratively,
takes pride in maintaining high levels of accuracy, and can build positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
· Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure timely payments.
· Prepare and review weekly creditor payment runs.
· Process ad hoc payments as required.
· Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries, discrepancies, and account matters.
· Maintain accurate creditor records and documentation.
Accounts Receivable
· Prepare monthly invoicing and cost reports.
· Monitor outstanding debtors and undertake collection activities.
· Provide debtor reporting and follow up overdue accounts.
· Monitor bank accounts on a regular basis.
Payroll & Employee Administration Support
· Assist with payroll administration and processing activities.
· Process employee reimbursements and expense claims.
· Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
· Review and approve fortnightly timesheets.
· Administrate employee leave applications and maintain accurate records.
Financial & Administrative Support
· Prepare financial information and reports as required.
· Assist with month-end financial processes.
· Provide general administrative support across the business.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial and administrative systems and processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar accounts or administration role.
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience using MYOB, ProjectWorks and Employment Hero will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Bookkeeping certificate/diploma.
