MAYDAY Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team in South Melbourne.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, working as part of a team and making sure stock gets where it needs to go accurately and safely.

What’s involved?

- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
- Using ERP systems to record stock movements, including serial numbers, expiry dates and lot details
- Ensuring stock is stored correctly and inventory records are kept up to date
- Preparing and labelling orders ready for delivery
- Checking products on arrival and before dispatch and reporting any issues
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and cycle counts
- Handling specialised stock,



including temperature-sensitive products, in line with procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general day-to-day operations

About you

- Walkie Stacker experience is essential
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Comfortable working with ERP or inventory management systems
- Reliable, organised and detail-focused
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and quality
- A hands-on team player who is happy to pitch in where needed
- Available to work full-time for the duration of the 6-month temporary contract
- Available to start ASAP
