This is an entry-level traineeship for people who want to gain a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) while working in aged care.

Please note: This traineeship is not suitable for applicants who already hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification.

As a Personal Care Worker Trainee, you will work in one of our aged care homes while completing a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) through TLC Learning.

What You'll Do

- Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week
- Complete a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Gain hands-on experience in aged care
- Learn from experienced care professionals
- Build a pathway to ongoing employment with TLC Healthcare

No previous aged care experience is required.

Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold eligible Australian work rights
- Not already hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or equivalent qualification
- Have current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check
