About the role

You'll carry out repairs, preventative maintenance and equipment adjustments in clients' homes, schools and disability support settings. Every day, your work will help people keep the equipment they rely on safe, reliable and working.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnosing and repairing manual and powered wheelchairs

- Servicing beds, cots, hoists, change tables, standers and other mobility equipment

- Completing seating and growth adjustments alongside occupational therapists and agreed specifications

- Fitting replacement parts, accessories and seating components

- Carrying out preventative maintenance, safety inspections and functional checks in accordance with manufacturer instructions

- Completing accurate service records and communicating clearly with clients, families and carers

- Contributing ideas to improve our service as our workload and team grow

About you

- Experience repairing wheelchairs, mobility equipment, medical equipment or similar mechanical and electrical products

- Strong practical fault-finding skills

- The ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs

- A friendly, patient and respectful approach to clients





- Good organisation and confidence completing digital job records

- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites

- Willingness to obtain relevant worker screening checks

- Experience with powered wheelchairs, complex seating, or preventative maintenance of beds and hoists will be highly regarded
