About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Engineering Administrator to join our Castlemaine Engineering team.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering & Asset Strategy, this newly created role provides critical administrative and systems support across engineering, maintenance and capital project activities. Working closely with project managers, engineers, maintenance leaders and contractors, you’ll help keep projects moving, maintain accurate reporting and systems, and ensure key compliance and governance processes run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Support engineering, maintenance and capital project teams with day-to-day administration.
- Manage dashboards, reporting, compliance documentation and project cost tracking.
- Raise and manage purchase orders and support invoice reconciliation activities.
- Maintain engineering and maintenance systems including SAP, MEX and Kronos.
- Monitor maintenance rosters, overtime reporting and skills matrix information.
- Manage contractor onboarding, offboarding and associated documentation.
- Maintain filing, records and document control processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements across the team.

Who We’re Looking For

- Previous administration, project coordination or team support experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.




- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, construction or industrial environments will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to ERP, maintenance management or workforce management systems such as SAP, MEX or Kronos is advantageous.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and supporting business outcomes.
