The Opportunity

Auriga Group is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Logistics & Supply Manager to lead our national aviation logistics and supply chain function within our Aviation division.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the right parts, materials and services are available at the right time to support safe, compliant and efficient operations across our helicopter fleet. You will oversee inventory strategy, procurement, repair and overhaul coordination, AOG logistics, supplier performance, regulatory compliance and team development.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will develop and lead a coordinated national logistics model that supports multiple operational bases while maintaining consistent governance, inventory integrity and regulatory compliance.

As the functional leader of the logistics and supply function, you will establish priorities, drive performance, implement effective systems and governance, and ensure our operations receive timely and reliable material support nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Inventory Support

- Develop and maintain a national logistics and inventory strategy aligned with fleet, maintenance and operational requirements.

- Establish stockholding frameworks for critical spares, rotables, consumables, tooling and base inventory.

- Analyse demand patterns, lead times and operational criticality to optimise inventory holdings.

- Identify supply continuity risks and implement mitigation strategies.

AOG & Operational Support





- Lead logistics responses for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and other time-critical operational requirements.

- Coordinate sourcing, expediting, freight and stakeholder communications during urgent supply events.

- Balance competing operational priorities across multiple locations and fleets.

- Conduct post-event reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Procurement & Supplier Management

- Oversee procurement activities in line with company policies and delegated authorities.

- Manage relationships with OEMs, repair organisations, freight providers and key suppliers.

- Negotiate pricing, repair terms, lead times, warranty outcomes and support agreements.

- Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage delivery risks.

Repairables, Overhaul & Asset Management

- Oversee the end-to-end management of repairable components, exchanges, overhauls and warranty claims.

- Ensure efficient tracking and control of assets throughout the repair cycle.

- Monitor turnaround times, unserviceable inventory, commercial exposure and overdue core returns.

Compliance, Systems & Reporting

- Ensure accurate inventory records and effective stock control processes across all locations.

- Maintain compliance with aviation traceability, storage, documentation and inventory management requirements.

- Lead reporting on inventory performance, supplier outcomes, material availability and logistics KPIs.

- Analyse trends and implement improvements to reduce shortages, delays and avoidable costs.

Leadership & Team Development

- Lead, coach and develop the Logistics Supply Officer and future team members.

- Build capability through documented processes, cross-training and succession planning.

- Foster a culture of accountability,



collaboration, professionalism and continuous improvement.

About You

You are a confident logistics leader who can balance operational urgency with commercial discipline, compliance and long-term strategic thinking.

You will bring:

Essential

- Demonstrated leadership experience in aviation logistics, aircraft supply chain management, maintenance logistics, or a comparable regulated technical environment.

- Robust knowledge of aviation inventory management, material traceability, authorised release documentation, repairables and stock integrity.

- Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations where supply performance directly impacts operational availability.

- Proven capability across procurement, inventory planning, supplier management, freight coordination and AOG support.

- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to assess risk and deliver outcomes under pressure.

- Experience using inventory, maintenance or ERP systems together with strong Microsoft Office skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to travel nationally as required.

Desirable

- Experience within helicopter operations or mixed-fleet aviation environments.

- Familiarity with Airbus or comparable OEM support, warranty and overhaul programs.

- Experience within a CASA Part 145 or equivalent maintenance organisation.

- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.

- Experience implementing inventory optimisation, reporting dashboards, process improvements or systems enhancements.
