About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity with the Rural Maintenance team for a Grader Operator based at our Cascade Depot.
This role contributes to delivering a high standard of construction and maintenance of Shire roads. Whilst this position is predominantly Grader Operator, the position will undertake other duties as directed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform grader operator duties as directed.
- Operate other plant (bobcat, backhoe, loader, truck and roller etc) as required.
- Perform work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
- Ability and willingness to live onsite at remote depot locations.
This is a full time, working an 85 hour fortnight.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
- ‘HC’ class license.
- Minimum one year continuous and competent experience operating a grader.
- Ability to perform routine mechanical maintenance on vehicular plant.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in road construction/maintenance or earthmoving environment.
Benefits
Salary: $94,049.19 per annum (including overtime)
