We are currently seeking experienced Electricians to join our clients across Newman, WA on a FIFO temporary/casual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Electricians looking for flexibility, short-term project work and the prospect to work within the Pilbara mining industry.
The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair work across site facilities, equipment and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs and installations
Fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting
Planned and preventative maintenance
Electrical inspections and testing
Responding to breakdowns and operational issues
Completing electrical work in accordance with relevant safety standards
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
Working collaboratively with the wider site and maintenance teams
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
Current WA Electrical Licence
Previous experience in mining, industrial or heavy industry environments
Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant site tickets and competencies
Previous FIFO experience will be highly regarded
