About the role

This is a hands-on management role responsible for ensuring the department operates efficiently and delivers strong leasing, occupancy, property management and tenant outcomes. You'll manage the team, coordinate priorities, stay across day-to-day property and leasing matters, and ensure tasks and issues are followed through to completion. You'll work closely with business leadership to identify opportunities, solve problems and improve the way the department operates, while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day running of the portfolio.

Key responsibilities
Manage and develop the property and leasing team, including priorities, targets, accountabilities and workflows
Manage leasing activity, including enquiries, lease negotiations, offers, renewals, tenant retention and the leasing pipeline
Drive occupancy and leasing outcomes across the portfolio
Manage day-to-day property operations, including maintenance, servicing and annual maintenance budgets
Manage tenant relationships, communications and escalations, including Owners Corporation matters
Manage property marketing,



vacancy promotion and leasing campaigns
Maintain accurate property and leasing records, systems and reporting, including Cirrus8
Monitor leasing, occupancy and property performance and provide regular reporting
Develop and improve departmental processes, procedures and systems to improve efficiency
Support broader business and strategic projects as required

About you
Experience in property and leasing
Experience managing and developing a team
Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Proactive, skilled and outcome-focused
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Confident managing tenant matters, negotiations and escalations
High attention to detail and solid follow-through
Comfortable working hands-on and managing the day-to-day requirements of a property portfolio
Willingness to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems
Confident using property management systems and reporting tools
