We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our contemporary and progressive practice. Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organised person, providing administration support for a very busy practice on a casual basis. Flexibility with hours is critical, and must include the ability to work across all shifts which includes mornings, afternoons and evenings, during school holidays and any other leave coverage. PLEASE NOTE: If you are not available across ALL shifts from Monday-Friday, your application may not go further.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Welcoming and assisting patients
Accurately and effectively booking appointments
Invoicing, receipting, and processing payments (including private, Medicare, and DVA billings)
Maintaining confidentiality
Performing general administrative duties.

Our requirements:
Previous medical reception and or administration experience greatly preferred
Experience with Best Practice software (preferred by not necessary)




High level of customer service
Robust attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organised and excellent time management skills
Skilled telephone manner
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Ability to work within a team
