This is an outstanding chance for a senior nurse with proven leadership experience in a day surgery or hospital setting. You will play a key role in managing clinical operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. NSQHS), and ensuring the delivery of protected, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day nursing and clinical operations
Maintain and improve clinical governance and patient safety
Lead accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance
Support staff development, rostering, and resource allocation
Collaborate closely with surgeons and administrative staff
About You
Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
Previous experience as a DON or in a senior nursing leadership role
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare accreditation and licensing (e.g. ACHS or ISO standards)
Robust leadership, communication, and team management skills
