TaxAssist Accountants is a growing franchise network serving small business owners and individuals across Australia. We are opening new offices across Australia as well as expanding our Neutral Bay Training Practice and are looking for Tax Agents to join our talented Training and Mentoring Team both remotely Supervising and Mentoring new Franchisees, as well as in person in our Neutral Bay Training Office (NSW).

Full, comprehensive training is provided on our training, mentoring and supervision procedures to ensure TPB compliance. You will be working with a fun, vibrant team of Tax Agents, ensuring excellence in the next generation of Tax Agent supporting local businesses in our communities.

What you will be doing -
Meeting with individual and small business clients to discuss tax obligations, returns, and strategies
Allocating jobs and Mentoring and training the Accountants whilst they complete these jobs.
Reviewing, providing feedback and signing off on tax returns prepared by junior staff and franchisees




Mentoring and supervising Franchisees with Tax related enquiries
Supporting a high standard of client service and technical accuracy across the team
Acting as a trusted point of contact for more complex client queries

What we are looking for -
Registered Tax Agent (current TPB registration essential)
Strong experience in individual and small business taxation
Confidence in client-facing interviews and consultations
A genuine interest in mentoring and building junior capability
Enjoy helping and mentoring and passing on your knowledge
Familiarity with Xero and/or common tax software preferred

This is a excellent fit for a semi-retired tax qualified, a returning practitioner looking to ease back in, or an experienced agent wanting a fulfilling part time role whilst running their own practice.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
