Matcha Garden is a Japanese-inspired café specialising in matcha and hojicha drinks and desserts. We value quality, consistency, and thoughtful hospitality. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Café All-Rounder / Barista to join our team long-term.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, all-rounder role where you’ll be involved in all aspects of café operations, including:
Taking customer orders and delivering warm, attentive service
Preparing matcha, hojicha, and coffee-based drinks
Steaming milk confidently and consistently (Latte art is a bonus)
Assisting with dessert preparation, baking, and plating
Serving food and drinks
Daily prep, restocking, cleaning, and dishwashing

Previous café experience is preferred, but attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic are just as key.

Shifts & Availability

We are ideally looking for someone who can be flexible and work both day/night shifts.

please note:
New team members will begin with training on mid shifts
Morning/night shifts will be introduced once you are confident with routines, prep, baking, and service standards
