Quirindi Engineering are seeking a talented Welder Metal Fabricator tradesperson to join our growing team. We offer a competitive base salary as well as prospect for a fair amount of overtime if desired. We are a local family-owned business offering fabrication, welding, machining and hydraulics, and a retail store selling a huge range of parts and spares, plus crane hire.

Key responsibilities
Complete a range of steel fabrication and welding tasks
Operate workshop machinery and equipment including guillotine, press brake, lathe, milling machine
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Requirements
Trade qualification - Cert III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Welding) or Fitting Machining
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Competency in steel fabrication processes and skill in operating metalworking machinery
Experience in hydraulics desirable but not essential




C6 Crane or dogman licence desirable but not essential
Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
A commitment to workplace safety and a team-oriented, team-oriented approach
