Fernwood Fitness – National Support Office

Fernwood Fitness is seeking a confident and experienced Membership Collections Officer to join our supportive, high-energy National Support Office team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume role where no two days are the same. We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem-solving, and understands that teamwork and strong relationships are critical to success.

What you’ll be doing:
Managing and maintaining accurate membership and payment records
Proactively contacting members with outstanding payments via phone and email
Ensuring all financial transactions and communications are completed accurately and efficiently
Resolving member concerns and complaints in a timely and skilled manner
Building solid relationships with members and our franchise network to support positive, solution-focused outcomes
Working closely with your team to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional service





What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a busy, fast-paced environment
Solid customer service skills with a solutions-focused mindset
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
A genuine team player who also works well independently
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confidence handling challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism
Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to prioritise, multitask, and perform under pressure
