About the role

We are looking for an experienced, capable and reliable MC Truck Driver for an immediate start, operating single, B-Double and Road Train combinations. This is general freight and hay work only – no bulk or livestock. The truck is normally based in Perth, with work including remote mine site deliveries, depot-to-depot freight, local pickups and seasonal hay cartage to export mills and South West dairies.

Key responsibilities
Operate single, B-Double and Road Train combinations
Load and unload using forklifts and loaders
Correctly restrain and secure your own loads
Complete remote mine site deliveries
Complete depot-to-depot and local pickup work around Perth
Cart hay during the seasonal peak
Reverse MC combinations confidently in confined areas
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records




Communicate clearly with customers, depots and management
Look after the truck as though it were your own

About you
Current MC Driver's Licence (manual gearbox) with a clean driving record
Proven MC driving experience
Demonstrated experience with B-Doubles and Road Trains
Robust reversing skills – not just highway driving experience
Good load restraint knowledge and practical experience
Physical fitness and the ability to throw straps and perform manual tasks
Forklift/loader experience
Positive mechanical aptitude
Solid problem-solving skills
Excellent English communication and record-keeping skills
