About the role

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ACT is Australia's prominent animal welfare organisation providing a strong voice for animals experiencing cruelty and neglect. We are committed to the care and welfare of animals, providing extensive professional facilities, including a fully equipped veterinary hospital with dedicated staff to care for animals. There are prospects to join us on either a full-time, part time or casual basis that may require some weekends and on-call work. We also welcome New Grads to apply.

Key responsibilities
Provide veterinary consulting, treatment and surgical care
Care for animals in our veterinary hospital
Contribute to animal welfare outcomes

About you
Appropriate Veterinary Science qualification with registration for Veterinary's Board of ACT or equivalent recognised registration
Surgical & Consulting experience
A great work ethic
A team player
A passion for animal welfare
A passion for fostering great customer relations




Experience in not-for-profit would be an advantage
Experience with wildlife would also be an advantage
