About the role

We are seeking a skilled SheetMetal Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team at AVRO SheetMetal in South Albury, NSW. As a SheetMetal Worker, you will play a crucial role in the production and fabrication of high-quality metal components and assemblies. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a quick-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the success of our growing company.

What you'll be doing
Operate and maintain a variety of sheetmetal machinery, including press brakes, guillotines, and metal-cutting equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
Perform precision metal cutting, bending, forming, and welding tasks to produce high-quality components
Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
Maintain a secure and organised work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures
Assist with the packing and preparation of finished products for delivery

What we're looking for
Eager to Learn and work as part of the team.
Proficient in the use of sheetmetal machinery, including press brakes, guillotines, and metal-cutting tools




Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively in a team workplace and follow safety procedures
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in sheetmetal fabrication or welding
