We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a part time basis, working closely with the HR Manager who will be on part time parental leave for 8 months. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys operational HR, employee relations, and supporting managers in a quick-paced environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, the HR Advisor will provide end-to-end HR support across the business, ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and company policies. You will play a key role in supporting leaders and employees while contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees
Assist with employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and investigations
Support recruitment and onboarding activities
Assist with employment contracts, variations, and HR documentation
Support leave management,



including parental leave and return-to-work arrangements
Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with Fair Work and relevant legislation
Contribute to policy development and HR initiatives as required
Work collaboratively with the HR Manager to ensure continuity of HR support
Payroll back up support
Administration duties as required

About You
Proven experience in a generalist HR or HR Advisor role
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work requirements
Confident communicator with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercial HR advice
Highly organised with robust attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the HR Manager
Experience in the HRIS and Payroll Platform Employment Hero
Experience in transport, logistics, or a blue-collar workplace (desirable)
