About the role

Lin's Flooring Pty Ltd is a Brisbane-based flooring company specialising in the supply and installation of timber, hybrid and vinyl flooring for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced Floor Finisher/Flooring Installer to join our growing team.

Key responsibilities
Inspect and prepare subfloors, including cleaning, grinding, repairing and levelling surfaces.
Measure, cut and install timber, hybrid, laminate and vinyl flooring.
Install underlay, skirting boards, trims, transitions and mouldings.
Repair and replace damaged or worn flooring.
Read plans, take measurements and estimate required materials.
Install flooring in accordance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
Maintain a clean and secure worksite and comply with WHS requirements.
Coordinate with supervisors, builders and clients to complete projects within required timeframes.

About you
At least 3 years of relevant experience in flooring installation and/or floor finishing.




Experience with engineered timber flooring and herringbone installation is highly regarded.
Experience in subfloor preparation and installation of timber, hybrid/laminate and vinyl flooring.
Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements.
Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety.
White Card and current driver's licence preferred.

Advantages

$85,000–$95,000 + super
