We’re looking for a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join our team at Supernormal.

Supernormal is an all-day dining, modern Australian restaurant with a contemporary aesthetic. Our menu is influenced by the cuisines of Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul and Hong Kong. It celebrates the notion of shared feasts through a selection of classic dishes alongside some new and inspired interpretations.

Our annual calendar of events and activations keeps the restaurant dynamic, ensuring no two days feel the same.

Supernormal has been an industry leader since 2014, and our commitment to top produce, suppliers and finding outstanding people to deliver exceptional food is always paramount. Trader House is a collective of restaurants, bars, and specialty retail stores by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author and columnist Andrew McConnell and photographer Jo McGann. Operating in Melbourne are Gimlet, Côte Basque, Apollo Inn, Cutler, Supernormal, Cumulus Inc., Marion, Builders Arms Hotel, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher and Morning Market. In 2024, Trader House opened Supernormal and Bar Miette in Brisbane.
