About the role

We are seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to join our team at Lead Electrical in Melbourne, Victoria. In this full time role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks across predominantly residential and some commercial projects.

What you'll be doing
Performing electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair work to the highest standards
Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics and work orders
Conducting electrical safety inspections and testing
Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices
Mentoring and training apprentice electricians as required
Supervising and running jobs with young teams of apprentices

What we're looking for
A valid A Grade Electrician's Licence
5 years' experience as a qualified A Grade Electrician (Preferable but not compulsory)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and equipment installation
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and work orders




Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to safety and a strong focus on quality workmanship
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A reliable, organised and proactive approach to your work
Willing to travel across Melbourne
