We’re growing our team at The Psychology Alley.

We’re looking for a Psychologist to join our Sydney CBD practice in a part time employee position, commencing at two days per week.

We know that moving into private practice can be appealing, but the uncertainty of building a caseload, managing administration and working independently can make that transition difficult.

This role has been designed to offer the advantages of private practice within the stability and support of an employee position.

The role offers:

• $55–$70/hour + super, depending on experience, clinical capability and caseload utilisation

• Paid non-client time for clinical responsibilities

• A sustainable clinical load, typically up to five client appointments per full clinical day





• Established referral pathways and administrative support

• CPD allowance following probation

• Peer consultation and case discussion

• The prospect to develop a caseload aligned with your clinical interests

We work primarily with adults and value thoughtful, formulation-driven and evidence-based psychological practice.

This position may particularly suit a psychologist currently working in a hospital, NGO, community or mixed setting who is interested in transitioning into private practice in a supported and sustainable way.
