We are seeking a trade sales and marketing executive who can bring their knowledge of the Australian travel trade, along with robust sales and marketing skills to promote the interests of New York City in the first instance, along with another destination account - Ollami.com.

Current York City is the lead priority for this role.

The Trade

Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing activities to achieve maximum traction for NYC in the Australian and New Zealand market, consistent with NYC's global strategies and within budget guidelines. Promoting the five boroughs of Current York City to the travel trade in Australia through a coordinated, strategic roll-out of activities designed to inspire, educate and motivate sales to NYC. Identifying innovative opportunities and maximise quality engagement with the trade, in line with NYC's global trade marketing strategy, goals and objectives,



working closely with the colleague managing NYC PR and communications.

Ollami connects Australian and Current Zealand travel professionals with a curated global network of local destination experts, offering tailor-made travel, competitive pricing and seamless booking support across more than 40 destinations. In this capacity, the role is predominantly focused on trade sales — building and managing relationships with travel agents, agency groups and consortia to drive registrations, enquiries and bookings — supported by trade marketing activity that builds awareness and engagement with the platform.

Across both accounts, this is a travel-trade-facing role requiring strong sales and marketing capability, and the successful candidate will represent both NYC and Ollami with equal professionalism, while recognising the differing priority and nature of each engagement.
