GenusPlus Group is seeking physically fit and motivated Trade Assistants to join our Transmission Lines team on the Clean Energy Link North project.

This is a hands-on transmission line role involving climbing steel towers and working at heights. It is physically demanding and suited to people who are comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and as part of a line crew.

About The Role

Working alongside experienced Linespersons and Riggers, you will assist with the construction and installation of transmission infrastructure.

Your Duties Will Include
Climbing transmission towers as part of daily line work.
Working at heights and in elevated positions.
Assisting Linespersons and Riggers with transmission line construction.
Carrying and handling tools, equipment and materials.
Assisting with rigging, lifting and installation activities.
Supporting conductor, cable and hardware installation.
Working as part of a crew to safely complete daily line construction activities.
Maintaining a clean and secure work area.
Following all site safety procedures and instructions.

About You This role is physically demanding, so you will need to be comfortable with:
Regularly climbing transmission towers.
Working at heights.




Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Carrying tools and equipment.
Performing physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
Working as part of a close-knit crew.

We are looking for candidates who are reliable, safety focused, physically capable and willing to learn. Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Labourer or in construction is highly regarded.
Experience in transmission lines, electrical infrastructure, rigging or working at heights is advantageous.
Construction White Card.
Current driver's licence.
Ability to pass required medical and drug and alcohol screening.
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.

Previous tower climbing or transmission line experience will be highly regarded, but we are also interested in candidates with the right attitude and physical capability who are looking to develop their skills in the transmission line industry.
